Let us remember all our students as they write the Common Entrance Examination today. This prayer may have been written for the student to say, but we can all pray it together as we change around the pronouns to suit.

Ministry of Education, Innovation, Gender Relations and Sustainable Dev.

Castries Comprehensive Sch. to Remain Closed for Two Weeks - All Other Schools Closed for One Week

In light of the recent Covid-19 developments impacting our education sector, the Ministry of Education, Innovation, Gender Relations and Sustainable Development convened a working session, today Friday 16th October 2020, with various stakeholders at the Ministry, to review and update its COVID-19 protocols for the sector.

After dialogue with the Department of Health and Wellness, in the best interest of all our stakeholders, the Ministry has decided, as a precaution, to keep all schools island-wide, closed for one week and the Castries Comprehensive Secondary closed for two weeks.

During this period the Ministry of Health and Wellness will continue to conduct its necessary screenings, the results of which will help determine the way forward. In keeping with our commitment to continuously engage stakeholders, we will continue to rely on guidance from the Office of the Chief Education Officer and by extension the Ministry Health and Wellness, in the best interest of all.

The Ministry advises parents and guardians that instruction will revert to the multi-faceted approach of online learning and safe distribution of instructional packages from teachers, during the period students are at home. Parents and Guardians are also asked to note that all necessary information to you on this matter will be communicated by the school of your child or ward.

The Ministry encourages everyone to continue to observe the necessary protocols as we endeavour to mitigate the spread of COVID-19.

16/10/2020

We are reminding you; parents, guardians, students, past students and well wishers of what should obtain. Let us all be responsible...please do the right thing to protect yourself and others!

15/10/2020

Some timely reminders! Let us not let our guard down!

15/10/2020

Please note that school will be closed tomorrow 16th October, 2020. This is a precautionary measure. Please stay tuned to this page, or your child/ward teacher's WhatsApp group for further information.

28/08/2020

Please take note of the following:

[08/28/20]   Parents /Guardians,

Information about the way forward, re the opening of school, will be made available to you very shortly.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

To the Class of 2020...we would like to extend heartiest congratulations to you and your parents. You worked hard, with the guidance of our three Grade Six teachers, and other support staff. The Principal was your biggest cheerleader!!

Now that you head off to the various Secondary schools, remember to always give of your best! Do not settle for mediocrity, and you will continue to reap the finest rewards!

As a staff of the Canon Laurie Anglican Primary School, we are extremely proud of our past student Dana Murray! She has excelled at Saint Joseph's Convent. Her mother, in giving thanks to us for her Primary School education, made the boast that she never regretted sending her to our school.

Thank you to Dana's mother for expressing gratitude to us, we appreciate the recognition and kudos. Dana, continue giving of your best.... and always remember; God, Myself, My Neighbour!
