Here is a snippet of our final class. I can’t believe that another year of CSEC English A preparation classes has come to an end! I turned some of our memories into a little Spotify wrapped presentation 🥰Thank you again to every student and parent who trusted me to be a part of their educational journey this year! It's that time again!
Today I had to let my students know that this was how I looked while reading the short stories they wrote. The suspense... the drama! They've made incredible progress and I was thoroughly entertained. 😎

I’m very impressed with my Form 3 student’s response to this question. He joined our classes in October 2025 after deciding to challenge himself by sitting the CSEC English A examination early in May 2026. While already an exceptional student, he has continued to refine his skills. His organization is excellent and he uses supporting details and persuasive devices effectively. 🤩

The countdown is on! Yesterday, our Paper 1 practice involved comparing students’ interpretations and visualisations of the 2025 CSEC Paper 1 poem 'Axed Man' with those generated by AI. It was insightful to explore both the similarities and differences. In this AI era, it’s important to show students the creative uses of AI rather than constantly demonizing it. It’s a tool to enhance thinking, not a brain substitute! After completing the reading comprehension exercise, we played a quick argumentative essay revision game before students wrote their own essays.
