On Pentecost Sunday, 24th May 2026, over 120 young Catholics received the Sacrament of Confirmation at the Minor Basilica of the Immaculate Conception, Castries. Of that number, 43 were students of the Saint Mary's College who had completed a two year Catholic Religious Instruction programme in Forms One and Two. Prior to the Confirmation ceremony seven of the young men were Baptized into the Catholic Faith and on the day of Confirmation itself, these seven along with five others also received Holy Communion for the first time. Congratulations to the 43 students who have been "sealed by the Holy Spirit" and commissioned to be strong and perfect Christians.

Basketball 🏀 Match Day

Today SMC goes back to battle on the Basketball Court. Take a look at our journey so far.

On Sunday, May 17, 2026, six students from Saint Mary's College participated in the Age Group Chess Tournament held at Bay Gardens Conference Center. One participant represented in the Under 16 Age Group, while the remaining five represented in the Under 14 category.

After five rounds of competition, D'Yorni Cilpa emerged victorious as the Under 16 Champion, winning all his five games.

All the remaining students placed in the top six spots in the Under 14 Age Group. Andre Zephurin emerged victorious in this category. In third place was Gabriel Tobias; fourth place was Rylan Charlie; fifth place was Malachi Stanislas and in sixth place was Kymani St.John.
