🙏 Opening Mass | 2026–2027 Academic Year

Today, the St. Mary’s College family gathered in prayer to begin the 2026–2027 academic year.

Inspired by 1 Corinthians 13:4–8 (“Love is patient, love is kind... Love never fails.”) and 1 Corinthians 13:11 (“When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became an adult, I put the ways of childhood behind me.”), students were encouraged to grow in faith and maturity, to respect one another, their teachers, and every member of our school community, and to remember that helping others never diminishes who they are and that it strengthens us all.

Here’s to a year rooted in faith, respect, and brotherhood. ❤️🖤

👔 Students are to attend in FULL SCHOOL UNIFORM
👨‍👩‍👦 Parents/Guardians are expected to attend with their child
🥪 Students should walk with a snack
💧 Remember to bring water

Please bring:
📸 Two (2) passport-sized photographs

📄 A certified copy of the student’s birth certificate

📝 Completed registration forms

👕 P.E. Uniform Fitting

Students are encouraged to attend registration, as P.E. uniform sizing and order placement will take place on the day. Bringing your child will help ensure the correct uniform size is ordered.

🌟 Summer Institute 2026 | Day 2 🌟

Today, our SMC teachers strengthened their commitment to creating a safe and supportive learning environment by participating in First Aid Response and CPR training.

Through hands-on practice and expert guidance, our educators gained valuable lifesaving skills that will help them respond with confidence in emergency situations.

We are proud to invest in professional development that not only enhances teaching but also prioritizes the health, safety, and well-being of every member of our school community.

A heartfelt thank you to our facilitators and all participants for making today’s session engaging, informative, and impactful.

📚 Summer Institute 2026 | Day 1📚

Our Summer Institute got off to a great start as SMC teachers gathered in the Resource Room to reflect, collaborate, and prepare for the new academic year.

Today’s discussions focused on subject selection, the school rule book, sports programmes, examinations, student orientation, and the school events calendar. Together, we strengthened our shared understanding of school policies and procedures to ensure consistency and excellence across our school.

The knowledge and resources shared during the Summer Institute will also help support the teachers joining the SMC family in September as they prepare for a successful start to the new academic year.

On 27 June 2026, St. Mary’s College held its Graduation Ceremony under the theme, ”Tested Through Struggle. Rooted in Legacy.”

We proudly celebrate this remarkable group of young men as they join the ranks of generations of Samarians who have answered the call to strive for excellence, lead with integrity, and serve with purpose.

🥉 Aiden George earned 3rd place among the secondary school competitors, an outstanding achievement!

🎤 Aiden Mitchell delivered a commanding and articulate speech on “The New Age of Tourism Professionals,” captivating the audience with his confidence, insight, and eloquence.
