Step 1: Make sure the bottom numbers (the denominators) are the same
Step 2: Add the top numbers (the numerators), put that answer over the denominator
Step 3: Simplify the fraction (if needed)

Step 1. Make sure the bottom numbers (the denominators) are the same
Step 2. Subtract the top numbers (the numerators). Put the answer over the same denominator.
Step 3. Simplify the fraction (if needed).

🔴 There are 3 simple steps to multiply fractions
1. Multiply the top numbers (the numerators).
2. Multiply the bottom numbers (the denominators).
3. Simplify the fraction if needed.

🔴 There are 3 Simple Steps to Divide
Fractions:
Step 1. Turn the second fraction (the one you want to divide by) upside down
(this is now a reciprocal).
Step 2. Multiply the first fraction by that reciprocal

A tip for reading numbers📚 with lots of digits ❗❕Use separators (COMMAS) ❗
Group numbers in 3's (not your decimal numbers) starting from the right👉 at your "ones" or "units".
The f
FIRST group of 3 tell you how many ones/units you have🤓, the NEXT group tell you how many thousands you have🤓 and the NEXT how many millions you have🤓❗
Read the 3️⃣ numbers as a 3 digit number and then say "THOUSANDS " or "MILLIONS" when you get to the COMMA.
MAKE SURE you count in from the right (the smallest integer) and not🚫 from the left!
