Dear colleagues,
Climate change, resource depletion, ecosystem degradation, urban extension, the Energy sector is currently facing multiple and immense challenges, which requires encouraging the replacement of fossil and polluting energies with local, clean and renewable energy sources. Indeed, the transition towards a cleaner energy technology and improve the environment is very important. Numerous innovations are shaping the renewable energy sector, which promotes greater awareness of the need to switch to cleaner solutions, such as green energy technologies. This calls for several sectors to implement changes for the creation of more sustainable solutions, renewable energy sources, such as biomass, energy and hydrogen technologies. However, replacing fossil fuels with clean energy sources by extension increases dependence on clean energy technologies or critical raw materials.
A - Carbon nanotubes as innovative material to produce electricity: innovative material composed of carbon nanotubes capable of producing electricity by absorbing energy from its environment. Tiny carbon particles that can generate a current just by reacting with the liquid around them can be used to produce power.
B -Batteries: The importance of batteries in the renewable energy transition is vast. With lithium-ion batteries, for example, the most energy-dense, reliable batteries which are used in many electronic devices.
C - Renewable hydrogen production from biomass, efficient use of various energy sources such as biomass and hydrogen technologies
The session focuses on clean energy technologies such as carbon nanotubes for energy production, batteries as renewable energy and sustainable hydrogen production from biomass.
