The initiative provides 25,000 Lebanese citizens with free learning opportunities and certification on the Coursera platform. It is aimed at helping fresh graduates, unemployed persons and those in employment to acquire new skills or engage in continuous learning, and obtain certificates from top-level universities abroad.

ّم comes at a difficult time for Lebanon, where online payment for e-learning has become a luxury, if not an impossibility. It also comes at a time where digital skills have become a must for people looking to find jobs or grow their own businesses, and to those struggling to acquire the competencies needed for online work in a COVID-19 restricted environment.

More than 4,000 courses are available in over 10 fields of study.
