Todav was our Orange Day Fiesta🍊
Our little ones had the best time exploring everything orange!
We started by washing the oranges together, scrubbing each one with careful little hands. Then came the déchiquetage - peeling and tearing oranaes to build fine motor skills and independence.
Of course, we turned our hard work into fresh orange juice and enjoyed every sip.

Did you know? Toddlers often learn shapes before colors.
A circle, square, and trianale are easv to see and touch - they have clear edges and meanings. But colors? That's trickier. Blues can look like purples, and oranges can look like reds. It's totally normal for them to mix up similar colors while thev're still exploring. So if vour little one knows all their shapes but calls everything "blue," don't worry. They're learning exactly how they should!

Why do kids throw things on the floor?
It's not to make a mess - I promise.
For toddlers, throwing is how they learn. They're testing gravity: "What happens if I drop this?
In the daycare, we don't see as misbehavior. We see it as a science experiment. And yes, we'll still be picking up those blocks 100 times! 😬
