Your body changed because it created life. 🤍

And while society keeps showing ‘perfect’ postpartum bodies and pushing the pressure of having a ‘summer body,’ many mothers are silently learning to recognize themselves again.

As the season gets closer, the comparisons get louder:
- ‘Bounce back.’
- ‘Get your body back.’
- ‘Lose the baby weight.’

But your body was never meant to prove its worth through appearance.
Stretch marks, softness, weight changes, scars, exhaustion… these are not failures. They are signs of everything your body carried, survived, and gave.

You are allowed to miss your old body sometimes.
And you are also allowed to appreciate the body that brought your baby into this world.

Motherhood changes the body, but your worth was never defined by a shape.💞

Weekends can feel emotionally heavier for people struggling with eating disorders.
The change in routine, social gatherings, eating out, comments about food or bodies, and increased unstructured time can intensify anxiety, restriction, binge eating, guilt, or body checking behaviors.

What looks “normal” from the outside may feel overwhelming internally.

Eating disorders are not phases, attention-seeking behaviors, or a lack of control. They are serious mental health conditions that deserve understanding and professional support.

Recovery is not about eating perfectly.
It’s about building flexibility, safety around food, emotional regulation, and a healthier relationship with the body, even during difficult moments like weekends.

If this resonates with you or someone you care about, know that support is available. 🤍

Eating disorders don’t always look the way people expect.
They hide behind “healthy habits,” compliments, and silence.

But inside, it can feel like:
• Constant mental noise about food
• Guilt after eating
• Fear of losing control
• Self-worth tied to appearance
This isn’t a lifestyle. It’s a struggle.

And the hardest part?
People often praise what is actually hurting you.

If you see yourself in this, pause for a second.
Not everything your mind tells you is the truth.
Recovery isn’t about perfection. It’s about freedom.

If you need support, we’re here. You don’t have to do this alone.💚

An experiment that has been confirmed repeatedly, you can try this, too.

Set up an Instagram or TikTok account as a 13yo girl. When asked about your interests, or in your Explore page, click on things like puppies, kittens, and nature.

Within a week, the depressive, self-harm, and eating disorder content starts being fed to you.

This highlights the type of content many children are exposed to online, which may play a significant role in the growing prevalence of eating disorders.
