So proud of our third year nursing students who hosted a health fair focused on raising awareness and offering free screenings for a wide range of health topics.

People from the community had access to:
• Blood pressure and glucose checks
• Vision and dental screenings
• Education on nutrition, chronic disease prevention, and healthy lifestyles
• Information on local health services and follow-up care

Many attendees said they left more informed and more confident about their health.

The event connected our community with accessible care. It showed how bringing services directly to people can close gaps and improve wellbeing.

We’re proud of everyone who showed up and everyone who made it happen. These efforts change lives.

Senior nursing students from the Lebanese American University - LAU Alice Ramez Chagoury School of Nursing visited the barbaranassar_ Barbara Nassar Cancer Center.
• They learned about the center’s services and support for cancer patients and families.
• They heard inspirational stories of resilience and hope.
• They saw the impact of compassion, advocacy, and lobbying for patients’ rights.

This experience reminded them that nursing goes beyond clinical care. It’s about standing with patients, amplifying their voices, and driving change for better health and dignity.

We are deeply saddened by the tragic loss of our beloved graduate, Amjad Yehya.
His life was cut short in an accident, leaving us with profound sorrow.
Amjad touched many lives through his kindness, dedication, and passion for learning.
He will always remain part of our university and LAU nursing school family.
On behalf of our university community, we extend our heartfelt condolences to his family, friends, and colleagues.
Our thoughts and prayers are with them in this difficult time.
Amjad will be remembered as a shining example of resilience and achievement.
May his memory live on in all of us.
