Through our Alternative Learning Spaces project, we are helping students continue learning through innovative environments created in response to crisis and educational disruption.
By bringing together resources such as Tabshoura, IFERB, and digital content hosted on laptops, these spaces support engaging and self-directed learning experiences for students.

A look inside one of our Alternative Learning Spaces at Aamchit Public School.

We created this space to support collaborative, creative, and interactive learning, giving students from Cycles 2 and 3 a flexible environment where they can engage with lessons in new and dynamic ways.

This initiative is implemented in partnership with Education Above All (EAA) to strengthen access to innovative learning environments in Lebanon.

At Al Baraa School in Akkar, learning started with something simple but powerful: play.

As part of the Let Kids Be Kids initiative, the LAL team introduced teachers to activities from the IFERB toolkit, which includes 100 offline games and exercises designed to support socio-emotional learning, teamwork, and student well-being.

Through these playful activities, teachers discovered new ways to help students stay engaged, focused, and ready to learn.

Implemented in partnership with Education Above All (EAA).

At LALšŸ©·, we believe a truly happy child isnā€™t one who has every need met instantly, but one who possesses the adaptability and social-emotional mastery to navigate lifeā€™s challenges.
Through our ā€œHappiness Curriculum,ā€ a dedicated SEL program hosted on the Tabshoura platform, we provide trauma-informed, interactive content that helps children recognize how emotions manifest in their bodies and physical actions.
Following a successful pilot launch with .kbwh Makassed Khaled Ben el Walid Collegeand the Al-Rishani Foundation ,we are now scaling up our mission to reach every classroom and home, changing the narrative on early childhood education by empowering children to understand and manage their feelings independently.

Our founder, Dr. Nayla Zreik Fahed, took part in the K-12 Education in Lebanon: Challenges and Opportunities Forum, organized by Ahliah School and AUB, under the auspices of the Minister of Education and Higher Education.
