Training Session 1: March 15, 2017 5:00 – 6:30 P.M.
Training Session 2: March 22, 2017 5:00 – 6:30 P.M.
Training Session 3: March 29, 2017 5:00 – 6:30 P.M.

Note: it is possible (not guaranteed) to organize a training session at the school. This option depends on the place, date, and availability of the trainer. For information call: 01353010-1 ext 323/328

11:00 A.M. – 11:30 A.M. Round 1 Results
11:30 A.M. – 1:00 P.M. Round 2 (M.S. ACCESS)
1:00 P.M. – 2:00 P.M. Lunch break (lunch is served)
2:00 P.M. – 2:30 P.M. Round 2 results
2:30 P.M. – 4:15 P.M. Round 3 (final Round, visual Basic programming)

Training Session 2 17/03/2016

Part of preparations for the First Annual Programming Cup for High School Students (PCHSS2016) to be held on April 2, 2016 at Haigazian University, The Division of Mathematical Sciences organized 2 training sessions. (March 9 and March 16)

Dr. Halaoui and Mr. Moukallid gave lectures about HTML programming. M.S. Access Programming and Visual Basic programming for around 50 High School students from around 20 schools.

The First Annual Programming Cup for High School Students

Dear Colleagues,

In attempt with its continuous support for innovation and creativity, the Division of Mathematical Sciences – DMS (Computer Science and Mathematics) at Haigazian University is proud to invite you to the first Annual Programming Cup for High School Students (PCHSS 2016).
The preliminary date for the contest is April 2, 2016.

This competition gives the student the opportunity to discover his/her ability to produce computer software. Through such an experience, new horizons are opened to the students. It also raises students’ awareness of Computer Science as a science rather than just a technology used by almost everyone.
Participants do not need to have any background knowledge of computer programming. However, participants must be in science section of Grade 12. Participants are expected to get engaged in all the activities provided during the training sessions and online.

Contest Awards:
First Winner 50% scholarship + Smart Phone
Second Winner 40% scholarship + Smart Phone
Third Winner 30% scholarship + Smart Phone
Last 10 finalists will also be awarded
