From inspiration to action: Saad, a participant in our BRIDGE program, was inspired to make a social impact after completing both the "Soft Skills" and "Webpreneurs for Social Impact" modules.

BRIDGE program is a project-based program to ensure readiness and inclusion of Lebanese and refugee students for higher education through web development, entrepreneurship, and career orientation.

The project B.R.I.D.G.E. "Bridging the youth skills gap to ensure inclusion and readiness for higher education" is implemented by Riyada for Social Innovation in partnership with SHiFT Social Innovation Hub & AUB Talal & Madiha Zein iPark within the scope of the "Funding for Training and Capacity Building" component of the HOPES-LEB project funded by the European Union , and implemented by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), Campus France and Nuffic.

The aim of this program is to elevate mental health support in establishments – not just for learners, but for school leaders and too. We will be pre-launching this free of charge pilot program in April 2023 to a select members of our community including you and your community.

The "Rising Arab Changemakers Award" will recognize rising changemakers in the region and inspire young people to act as positive change catalysts in their local community.

Selection Criteria:

-Young rising change-maker from around the Arab world
-Living in an Arab country (any nationality is welcomed) for more than 2 years and in the range of 13 to 22 years of age
-Must be either a university student or a high school student or a student of equivalent studies such as technical institutes; drop-outs can also apply
-Could demonstrate exceptional social work or youth-led initiatives in the development fields that bring some positive change in their local community over the last year starting either in the pre-college or university years (2 tracks)
-Has contributed clearly to one more or SDG's through their work

- تلاميذ من مستوى المدرسة الثانوية (الصف 10،11،12)

- المنهج المدرسي لبناني في المدرسة (Lebanese system)
- للجنسيات اللبنانية وغير اللبنانية
- يمكن أن يؤمن المواصلات إلى بيروت على نفقته الخاصة
- ملتزم بحضور المعسكر التدريبي ليوم كامل (التاسعة صباحاً الى الخامسة مساءً)

Danielle Hatem is an economist and the founder of D does Business ; an influential blog with the main objective of spreading awareness about local and regional economic updates and analyses.
