And the journey continues…35 years later.

This year’s annual dinner was a special one for the Walid Joumblatt Foundation for University Studies.

The guests embarked on a journey through time celebrating 35 years of achievements where founders and students testimonies were shared through an audio visual trip marking milestones and successes and where Mr. Aslan Joumblatt gave a message of hope and persistence.

The musical journey produced by Salim Assaf, and it showcased the different stages the phases the foundation has been through since its inception.

1982: The year the Walid Joumblatt Foundation for University Studies was founded, with 10 scholarships distributed

2017: WJF is proud to have assisted 18,000 students

What is important is the story.... and the Soapbox Communications team is a great storyteller!

May 4th 2017 - Beirut Events and Street Shows organization (BEASTS) officially inaugurated the preparations of BEASTS summer festival, scheduled to take place next August in Beirut, during a dinner held at “The O1ne” - Beirut Waterfront under the patronage and in the presence of H.E. The President of the Council of Ministers Mr. Saad Hariri. A race car and motorbike were amongst the décor set-up at the event, with fire shows and colorful acrobatics entertaining the audience, giving a taste of what is to be expected at the upcoming festival.

The theme of the BIFEX 2017 – “Brand Lebanon”, was an opportunity for a true taste of nation branding. In the presence of H.E. The President of the Council of Ministers Mr. Saad Hariri who was presented with a “selfie app” as a token of appreciation by the Lebanese Franchise Association guests were treated to a culinary cruise around the neighboring countries of Lebanon during which unique traits of France, Spain, Italy, Egypt and Lebanon were reflected in a variety of the very refined dishes served. This sailing cruise was rocked by an exceptional choice of music, and a background of vintage posters, nautical flags and postcards that all contributed to a very enjoyable travel for the night.
