Order of Engineers Welcome to the Official Page of the ORDER OF ENGINEERS campaign for the 2012 AUB Elections.

Our Achievements as FEA SRC 2010, 2011, and 2012:

Our Platform for 2012-201

3:

1- Better Financial Aid: The allocation of AUB’s bank interest money to support students through Financial Aid was briefly presented in the USFC of 2010-2011. This proposal takes advantage of this extra amount of money to better fund an increasing number of students with need, especially after the adoption of the 15-credit policy.

2- Better Funding for FYP Projects: Considered as a major part of every E4 student’s final year, the FYPs of FEA’s own are reaching new heights in terms of innovation and uniqueness, hence requiring more funding and support, and that is one project we’ll be working on.

3- Parking Issue: Once again, we seek to continue the struggle against the increase of the prices of parking around AUB Campus. We will address the AUB once again to promote the quality of life of the Students by providing them with an adequate parking facility that account for all students and thus relieving them from another financial burden.

4- Reduced Price of Printing Quota: Although AUB has provided students with a new printing service that saves the effort of going to a printing centre, students want to pay less money for it. If we win, we will be there to work hard for it in order to meet the needs of students.

5- Sports and Computer Competitions: AUB students want extracurricular activities. If we win, we will improve the extracurricular side of the student life by organizing Sports Tournament (Soccer, Basketball…) and Computer Competitions (DotA Tournament, programming competition …).

6- Cooperation with Student Societies: FEA’s abundance in societies will be exploited in terms of cooperation between the FEA SRC and these societies to provide you with more events throughout the year, reaching out to your specific fields of study or to engineering as a whole.
