قام وفدٌ من المديرية العامة للأمن العام، ضمّ العقيد شوكت جمعة والرائد حسان بركات، بتقديم درع المديرية إلى رئيس مجلس إدارة المدرسة الألمانية الدولية – بيروت الأستاذ عمر سلّوم، وذلك باسم اللواء حسن شقير، تقديرًا للتعاون والشراكة الإيجابية بين المدرسة والمديرية العامة للأمن العام في خدمة المجتمع ودعم المصلحة العامة

A delegation from the General Directorate of General Security, including Colonel Chawkat Jomaa and Major Hassan Barakat, presented the Directorate’s commemorative shield to Mr. Omar Salloum, President of the Board of the German International School of Beirut, on behalf of Major General Hasan Choucair, in appreciation of the cooperation and positive partnership between the school and the General Directorate of General Security in serving the community and supporting the public interest.

Eine Delegation der Generaldirektion für Allgemeine Sicherheit, bestehend aus Oberst Chawkat Jomaa und Major Hassan Barakat, überreichte Herrn Omar Salloum, dem Vorstandspräsidenten der Deutschen Internationalen Schule Beirut, im Namen von Generalmajor Hasan Choucair das Ehrenschild der Direktion als Anerkennung für die Zusammenarbeit und die positive Partnerschaft zwischen der Schule und der Generaldirektion für Allgemeine Sicherheit im Dienste der Gesellschaft und des Gemeinwohls.

Unter der warmen Sonne hatten unsere KG3-Kinder einen wunderschönen Tag voller Musik, Kreativität und Freude!
Im Rahmen unseres Themas „Mein Haus“ haben die Kinder ihre eigenen kleinen Häuser gestaltet, bunt bemalt und gemeinsam schöne Momente im Freien erlebt.

As part of our theme “My House” , the children decorated their own little houses, painted with bright colors, and shared joyful moments together outdoors.

Harte Arbeit, Eleganz und Entschlossenheit – bravo, Mädels!

Our Grade 10 LP students turned into real cell explorers as they investigated muscle cells, bread mold (fungi), paramecium, and plant cells under the microscope. After mastering microscope skills and core cell biology, students observed, sketched (on their devices), labeled structures, and worked together like true young scientists. Strong collaboration, curious minds, and confident inquirers — this is what hands-on learning looks like!

Unsere Schüler und Schülerinnen im LP-Programm verwandelten sich in wahre Zellforscher, als sie Muskelzellen, Brotschimmelpilze, Pantoffeltierchen und Pflanzenzellen unter dem Mikroskop untersuchten. Nachdem sie den Umgang mit dem Mikroskop und die Grundlagen der Zellbiologie erlernt hatten, beobachteten die Schüler die Zellen, fertigten Skizzen an, beschrifteten Strukturen und arbeiteten wie echte junge Wissenschaftler zusammen. Intensive Zusammenarbeit, Neugier und selbstbewusste Forscher – so sieht praxisorientiertes Lernen aus!

Opening doors to future careers in health!

Our Grade 11 & 12 DISB students participated in an inspiring session exploring the world of public health with Dr. Rana Barazi, a public health lecturer at the American University of Beirut, with a focus on raising awareness about public health.

During the session, students were introduced to the programs offered by the Faculty of Health Sciences at AUB and learned about real career pathways that make a positive impact on communities and beyond.

Türen öffnen zu zukünftigen Karrieren im Gesundheitswesen!

Unsere Schüler der Klassen 11 und 12 (DISB) nahmen an einer inspirierenden Vortragsveranstaltung teil, in der sie gemeinsam mit Dr. Rana Barazi, Dozentin für Public Health an der Amerikanischen Universität Beirut, die Welt des öffentlichen Gesundheitswesens erkundeten – mit besonderem Fokus auf die Sensibilisierung für die öffentliche Gesundheit.

Während der Veranstaltung wurden die Schüler in die Studienprogramme der Fakultät für die Gesundheitswissenschaften an der AUB eingeführt und lernten reale Karrierewege kennen, die einen positiven Einfluss auf Gemeinschaften und darüber hinaus haben.

Multicultural Days – Canada
As part of our ongoing Multicultural Days, our Kindergarten students explored Canada through meaningful, hands-on learning experiences.
Through engaging centers and interactive games , the students learned about Canadian symbols, the flag, major cities, nature and wildlife , and elements of Canadian culture in an age-appropriate and joyful way.
These activities help our students develop cultural awareness, respect for diversity, and curiosity about the world around them—one country at a time

Multikulturelle Tage – Kanada
Im Rahmen unserer fortlaufenden Multikulturellen Tage erkundeten unsere Kindergartenkinder Kanada durch bedeutungsvolle und praxisnahe Lernerfahrungen.

Durch spannende Lernstationen und interaktive Spiele lernten die Kinder kanadische Symbole, die Flagge, wichtige Städte, Natur und Tierwelt sowie Elemente der kanadischen Kultur kennen – auf altersgerechte und fröhliche Weise.

Diese Aktivitäten helfen unseren Schülerinnen und Schülern, kulturelles Bewusstsein zu entwickeln, Vielfalt zu respektieren und Neugier auf die Welt um sie herum zu fördern – Land für Land

As part of our health and wellbeing units, students learned how to take care of their teeth, make healthy choices, and understand the importance of regular dental checkups to keep their smiles strong!

Im Rahmen unserer Gesundheits- und Wohlfühleinheiten haben die Schülerinnen und Schüler gelernt, wie sie ihre Zähne richtig pflegen, gesunde Entscheidungen treffen und die Bedeutung regelmäßiger Zahnarztbesuche verstehen, um ihr Lächeln stark und gesund zu halten!
