Haigazian University Student Life

A group of Haigazian University students participated in the First Consultative Session for the National Youth Strategy 2026–2030, held at the Lebanese University – Hadath Campus. Through its delegation, the University contributed to national discussions aimed at shaping inclusive, forward-looking youth policies that respond to the realities and aspirations of young people in Lebanon.
The session brought together key national and international partners, including UNICEF and UNFPA, and was held in the presence of H.E. Dr. Nora Bayrakdarian, Minister of Youth and Sports, H.E. Dr. Kamal Chehade, Minister of the Displaced and Minister of State for Technology and Artificial Intelligence, and H.E. Dr. Rima Karami, Minister of Education and Higher Education, highlighting the importance of cross-sector collaboration in advancing youth development.

HU Chess Team members at the International Chess Festival Cracovia 2025–2026, held in Kraków Poland, Giorgio Kaloust finished 2nd overall among approximately 200 participants, scoring 7.5 points out of 9 games in the classical tournament.
