We Are Inside Won El Gouna Golden Star Award and NETPAC for the best Asian feature film at El Gouna Film festival 2024.
We won these awards in reality filled with harshness… and with a heavy heart. It is very difficult to celebrate what we have accomplished after seven years of work while our country, Lebanon, is being bombed daily, and Gaza is enduring endless massacres for over a year. We are exhausted that our films and our art have become our space to mourn our dead and demand justice… We are tired, but we will not stop!

We are very happy to announce that "Maroun Returns to Beirut" | "وعاد مارون إلى بيروت" will premiere at La Biennale di Venezia Venice Film Festival!

This year marks the 30th anniversary of Maroun Baghdadi's sudden and tragic death. Maroun, a Lebanese filmmaker who wrote and directed films during the Lebanese civil war and contributed to documentary and fiction filmmaking from 1973 up until his death in 1993. In this film, the director Feyrouz Serhal embarks on a day trip in Beirut, she navigates the city that profoundly shaped Maroun’s journey in life and cinema, and she encounters close individuals who shared his experiences. And while she traverses Maroun’s life and career the social and political backdrop moves to the foreground. The film reflects on the last 50 years of the history of the country from a present standpoint.

Thread of Hope celebrates the resilience of refugee women. Directed by award-winning collage artist, Troy Browne, voiced by actress and UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency's Goodwill Ambassador, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, and featuring new music by Bat for Lashes, it’s a story of hope and creativity amidst adversity. 💫
