Through my years of dedicated practice in early childhood education, I have observed that building trust isn’t a race; it’s a journey that starts with respect. 👣

As an educator, my first job during the adaptation period isn’t just to play, it’s to provide a safe harbor. Sometimes, the most loving thing I can do is give a child space.

When we respect their “invisible bubble,” we aren’t being cold. We are showing them: ✨ I see you. ✨ I respect your boundaries. ✨ I am here when YOU are ready.

By waiting for the invitation instead of intruding, we allow the child’s natural curiosity to bloom. Remember: Connection is grown, not grabbed. 🌱

It made me realize how important it is for children to first practice with spring-assisted scissors before moving on to regular ones. Starting with the safer option builds confidence, strengthens hand muscles, and teaches control; making the transition to ‘big kid’ scissors much safer and smoother.
