Understanding the right academic path for your child’s needs can feel overwhelming. Here is what each option means:

Regular Classroom: The standard curriculum with minimal support or minor accommodations.

Inclusion: Mainstream classroom learning with modified methods, extra time, or adapted tasks.

Specialized Class: An individualized curriculum focused on core skill-building rather than grade speed.

Repeating a Grade: Best for temporary absences; does not solve ongoing learning difficulties alone.

Changing Schools: Helpful if resources are missing, but requires a clear assessment plan to work.

Home Tutoring: Helps with homework and practice, but doesn’t replace specialized evaluation.

When parents notice ongoing learning difficulties, they often find themselves considering several options:

Should we change schools?
Repeat the grade?
Stay in the same school with additional support?
Consider an inclusion or specialized classroom?
Hire a tutor or add therapy sessions after school?

There is no single option that is right for every child—or at every stage.

The appropriate educational path depends on:

1️⃣ The child’s current level
2️⃣ The nature and duration of the difficulties
3️⃣ The areas affected
4️⃣ The child’s ability to follow the grade-level curriculum
5️⃣ The type and level of support needed

A diagnosis alone does not determine the answer. Two children with the same diagnosis may need different educational paths because their abilities, skills, and needs are not identical.

The initial decision is not final. Every chosen path should be reviewed regularly to determine whether the child is developing skills, making progress, and still receiving the appropriate support.

Unlocking every child’s potential! 🌟 At Miza, we believe that education starts with the child. Our individualized program offers a personalized academic path built around each student’s unique level, needs, and goals.
We begin with a thorough initial assessment to identify strengths, challenges, and individual developmental needs. This assessment forms the foundation for a customized educational plan with clear objectives, academic goals, and an individualized roadmap.
Our program is not static; it evolves monthly with progress reviews and adjustments to ensure it keeps pace with the child’s development.
To provide the closest possible support, we work in small groups with a maximum of 4 children, allowing for continuous, focused guidance and enough time for each child to build confidence and move forward at their own pace.
Applications are now open for the 2026-2027 Academic Year. Numbers are limited, and program fitness is determined after the initial assessment. For inquiries or to book an assessment, call us on 71-598883.
