•حاصل على درجة البكالوريوس من كلية الآداب -جامعة بيروت العربية عام 1977
•بدأ مسيرته المهنية في وزارة المالية والبترول عام 1972
•شغل منصب رئيس العلاقات الدولية والعامة في وزارة المالية والبترول بين عامي 1972 و1986
•عُيّن وزيراً للطاقة والصناعة عام 1992
•عُيّن نائباً ثانياً لرئيس مجلس الوزراء عام 2003
•عُيّن نائباً لرئيس مجلس الوزراء عام 2007
•ترأّس منتدى الدول المصدرة للغاز عام 2009
•عُيّن رئيساً للديوان الأميري عام 2011، ثم تولّى لاحقاً رئاسة هيئة الرقابة الإدارية والشفافية، بالإضافة إلى رئاسته لجنة التخطيط في الدولة

At Beirut Arab University, we are incredibly proud to celebrate the outstanding achievement of our students Kadi Zibawi, Lynn Maarouf, and Marwa Zarzour from the Faculty of Pharmacy (Class of 2023–2024), who secured 1st place at L’Oréal Brandstorm Lebanon 2026! 🏆

Competing among 13 universities, 1,500+ students, and 92 projects, and advancing from 12 finalist teams — their success is a true reflection of excellence.

This year’s competition was more than just a challenge, it showcased resilience, dedication, and the unstoppable spirit of our Lebanese youth. Our students rose above every challenge, bringing innovation, creativity, and determination to the stage.

We were delighted to host an inspiring online session on April 16th, 2026 titled “Mindsets and Habits That Shape Long-Term Career Success”, delivered by Ms. Chirine El Baba, Founder & CEO of The Impact Pro (TIP), and an award-recognized Career & HR expert.

Organized by the BAU Alumni and Career Center, the session brought together students and alumni for an engaging discussion on the key lessons drawn from global senior leaders and C-suite professionals.

Ms. El Baba shared valuable insights on:
* Building the right mindset for sustainable career growth
* Developing habits that drive long-term professional success
* Strategically positioning oneself in competitive job markets
* Navigating career transitions with clarity and confidence

With her extensive experience repositioning over 120+ executives across MENA, GCC, and international markets, the session offered practical guidance and real-world perspectives that resonated deeply with attendees.
