On Friday, February 6, the Lebanese Center for Policy Studies hosted a dinner to bring together key partner organizations. The evening served as an opportunity to reaffirm the continued trust and collaboration that underpin shared efforts.

In his opening remarks, President of the LCPS Board of Directors Mohamed Alem stated: “For over 35 years, LCPS has worked very hard with a mission to produce independent, high-quality research that is relevant to policymaking, as well as to promote these policies and reforms through advocacy and raising public awareness.”

He added: “LCPS has offered a space for policy discussion and a framework for knowledge production.” And concluded: “We believe that we need to move from crisis management…to state reform. And that reform is not a political statement, but rather a disciplined process grounded in knowledge, debate, and evidence, which is at the core of LCPS’s work.”

In a warm and engaging setting, participants exchanged perspectives, strengthened existing relationships, and explored avenues for future cooperation. The gathering reflected the existing strong partnerships that have been essential to advancing the mission of the Center and to fostering constructive dialogue on key policy issues.

يوم الجمعة الواقع فيه 6 شباط/ فبراير، أقام المركز اللبناني للدراسات عشاءً ضمّ المنظمات الشريكة الرئيسية. وقد شكّلت الأمسية فرصةً لترسيخ الثقة والتعاون المستمرّين اللذين يشكّلان أساس الجهود المشتركة.

في كلمته الافتتاحية، صرّح رئيس مجلس إدارة المركز، محمد عالم، قائلًا: "على مدى أكثر من 35 عامًا، عمل المركز بجدٍّ دؤوبٍ لتحقيق رسالته في إنتاج بحوث مستقلة وعالية الجودة تُسهم في صياغة السياسات العامة، فضلًا عن الترويج لهذه السياسات والإصلاحات من خلال المناصرة والتوعية العامة".

وأضاف: "لقد وفّر المركز مساحةً للنقاش حول السياسات العامة وإطارًا لإنتاج المعرفة". ثم اختتم قائلًا: "نؤمن بضرورة الانتقال من إدارة الأزمات... إلى إصلاح الدولة. وهذا الإصلاح ليس بيانًا سياسيًا، بل هو عملية منهجية منضبطة ترتكز إلى المعرفة والنقاش والأدلة، وهو جوهر عمل المركز".

وفي جوٍّ وديٍّ وتفاعلي، تبادل المشاركون وجهات النظر، وعزّزوا العلاقات القائمة، واستكشفوا سُبل التعاون المستقبلي. وقد عكس اللقاء متانة الشراكات القائمة التي كانت أساسية في دفع رسالة المركز قُدمًا، وتعزيز الحوار البناء حول قضايا السياسات العامة الرئيسية.

في مرصد الاصلاح هذا، يُحلل نديم ف*ج الله أزمة ّي في #لبنان، وجهود التعافي الأخيرة، والإصلاحات اللازمة لضمان إدارة مُستدامة وفعّالة.
