In 1949 Dr Maria Montessori wrote, “The greatness of the human personality begins at the hour of birth”. A Montessori education encourages children to develop their potential through independently exploring the world. Children explore the world through their senses and freedom of movement and choice of activities are the key enablers so that at any given time, their innate curiosity about the world can be matched by a corresponding activity.
