The Association exists to serve the INSEAD alumni community in Lebanon. The first Lebanese MBA participant graduated in 1961, and all promotions since then have included Lebanese participants, without exception. The INSEAD Alumni Association - Lebanon organized on November 11-12 its first "in-board" seminar at the Al Bustan hotel in Beit Mery. The seminar was attended by a number of current board members and family/business advisors, and covered a large spectrum of topics including governance and legal aspects. Speakers included Jan Bladen, partner at Stanton Chase, Amin Rizk, partner at Rizk law firm, and Andre Rohayem, partner at PwC. The seminar also included talks from Emile Mabro, CEO at Kettaneh and Charles el-Hage, former senior vice-president at Booz Allen Hamilton sharing their experiences as board members. The seminar ended with a dinner organized at the Lunch Room with a keynote speech by former minister Nicolas Nahas.

The seminar organized for INSEAD alumni is part of the school's lifelong learning program and a testimony to the commitment of the alumni association to its mission to promote better corporate governance.
