On the occasion of World Diabetes Day, the Department of Family Medicine conducted educational activities for kids about Type 1 Diabetes. Through engaging stories and interactive plays, we taught them how to understand, support, and create a safe environment for children living with Type 1 Diabetes.
We also emphasized the importance of healthy eating and physical activity in managing Type 1 Diabetes. This initiative is part of a project supported by the World Diabetes Foundation in collaboration with the Ministry of Public Health.
