Who is this class for?
If you are a complete beginner and would like to start from scratch, then this class is for you. If you already learned some Arabic a long time ago and feel like you forgot everything and would like to start all over then it’s also for you.
After this course, you are expected to be able to:
• Introduce yourself
• Ask simple questions
• Have simple conversations with people and shop keepers
• Inquire about directions as well as give them yourself
• Learn how to write and pronounce the Arabic alphabet
• Conjugate verbs in three tenses
Method:
As this course is for beginners who don’t know the alphabet yet, we will be learning through transliteration (Arabic written in Latin alphabet) in the beginning. Simultaneously, we will be learning how to read and write in Arabic. You will learn how to speak and form sentences through written conversations inspired from everyday life situations as well as some grammar.
