Dear IVAO Community,
This Independence Day, we invite you to join IVAO Lebanon as we commemorate the unity and resilience of the Lebanese people. In a symbolic gesture, we’ll be operating a single runway at Beirut International Airport (OLBA)—Runway 17 with southern winds, and Runway 03 with northern winds. No matter the conditions, we’ll stand as one, showcasing the spirit of solidarity that defines Lebanon.

✈️ Flight Guidelines
- Departures from OLBA to destinations worldwide are open, with a minimum one-hour block time requirement.
- Arrivals to OLBA from anywhere are warmly welcomed, also with a minimum one-hour block time.

🛩️ Local VFR Flights
For those eager to explore Lebanon’s skies, VFR flights are available between OLBA, OLKA, OLRA, and Z19O. Whether you’re interested in a scenic hop or a local sightseeing adventure, we’ll have you covered! Expect vectoring and support from our controllers throughout your journey.

‼️Important Information for Pilots
To ensure smooth operations, be prepared for possible holding patterns and carry extra fuel. Our controllers will manage the flow, and we appreciate your patience during peak times.

On behalf of IVAO LEBANON: For those of you who are aware of IVAO (International Virtual Aviation Organization), we'd like to inform you that we’ve just opened the Lebanese division, and we are looking forward to have you with us.

For those of you who don’t know what IVAO is, it is basically an online network connecting Pilots from multiple simulators, MSFS, XP12/11, P3D, etc… with ATC real persons. Events, group flights, trainings, and ratings are all on the menu.
