Where is the misconception?
————————————————————
The word aptitude is often misinterpreted as ability or achievement.
There is a technical difference between them that makes all the difference! 😉
☑️Achievement
What you have accomplished in the past
☑️Ability
What you are able to demonstrate in the present
☑️Aptitude
How quickly or easily you will be able to learn in the future

Goals should be clear and reachable.
Manage your goals by objectives and make them S.M.A.R.T
———————————————————-📍Specific
When thinking of your goal, try to answer the five "W" questions:
- What do I want to accomplish?
- Why is this goal important?
-Who is involved?
-Where is it located?
-Which resources or limits are involved?
📍Measurable
It's important to have measurable goals to track your progress, stay motivated and meet deadlines.
A measurable goal should address questions such as:
- How much?
- How many?
- How will I know when it is accomplished?
📍Achievable
The goal needs to be realistic and attainable.
An achievable goal can answer the following:
- How can I accomplish this goal?
- How realistic is the goal, based on other constraints?
📍Relevant
The goal needs to matter to you.
A relevant goal can answer "yes" to these questions:
- Does this seem worthwhile?
Is this the right time?
- Does this match our other efforts/needs?
- Am I the right person to reach this goal?
- Is it applicable in the current socio-economic environment?
📍Time-bound
Every goal needs a date to mark it as “done”. Deadlines are important.
A time-bound goal will usually answer these questions:
- When?
- What can I do six months from now?
- What can I do six weeks from now?
- What can I do today?

The Benefits of To-Do Lists:
✔️Better Organization Skills
Using a list as an organization strategy makes you feel more grounded and makes tasks more manageable.
Crossing items of the list instills a feeling of accomplishment and leaves room for progress. This leads to motivation and decreases feeling overwhelmed.
One study showed that fifteen minutes spent planning could save an hour of ex*****on time!
————————————————————
✔️Improved Memory
To-do lists "are useful external memory aids" that usually give you permission to forget.
Remembering to look at your to-do list minimizes the chance of "losing" anything written on it.
We need external memory aids due to our our short-term memories
Looking at a list, it "reinforces the information" in our short-term memory, making forgetting a less likely option.
————————————————————
✔️Productivity
Using a list leads to a habit of prioritizing tasks.
This leads to more focused attention and much better time management skills with less distractions.
