This page was developed as part of a research project at the American university of Beirut. The research entitled “A social media intervention
to counter COVID-19 misinformation in Lebanon” is conducted by Associate professor Dr. Tamar Kabakian at the Department of Health Promotion and Community Health at the Faculty of Health Sciences. The information provided in this page will help the public build media literacy skills, which will enable individuals to better identify public health misinformation and to diffuse reliable and accurate information among others.
