Exploring innovation in higher education! 🌐

The Center of Excellence in Research, Education, and Cultural Studies (CEREC), in collaboration with MUBS, organized the training session “Virtual Exchange, Virtual Reality, and Conversational Artificial Intelligence in Higher Education: Building Empathy and Understanding” at the Badaro Campus. Led by Prof. Nael Alami, MUBS Vice President, and Dr. Hiam Loutfi, Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Sciences, the workshop introduced faculty members to the potential of immersive technologies like virtual reality and conversational AI in fostering empathy, connection, and deeper understanding among students and educators alike.

The workshop will explore the concept of user experience design and changing the mindset of designing for businesses to designing for the end users.

Yoga is more than just physical exercise. It is a holistic practice that integrates the body, mind, and soul, benefiting our well-being on all physical, mental, and emotional levels. This includes relieving stress, increasing flexibility, and improving mental clarity.
The workshop is both practical and theoretical, addressing basic yoga postures, breathing techniques, and stretching practices that can be incorporated into our daily lives, as well as discussions on yoga philosophy, its different aspects, and how they can help us feel more in touch with our inner self.
