Despite years of economic hardship, instability, and war in Lebanon, research at the Lebanese University never stopped, but it's accelerating!
Behind the scenes, our team kept working, kept pushing boundaries, and kept believing.

We proudly share the results: more research, more PhD students, and stronger scientific presence than ever before.
Our research is increasingly being published in top-tier journals, reflecting the exceptional quality and dedication of our team.
KALMA Scientific Day was not just an event β€” it was a celebration of resilience, growth, and a future built on perseverance.

This scientific day was organized by 𝑷𝒓𝒐𝒇. π‘΄π’‚π’Šπ’…π’π’–π’ 𝑴𝒐𝒓𝒕𝒂𝒅𝒂, and it featured presentations by our PhD students showcasing the results they produced during the academic year 2024–2025.
Moreover, our team has produced a large number of high-quality papers this year, further demonstrating the strength and impact of our research community.

Finally, we extend our deep appreciation to 𝑷𝒓𝒐𝒇. π‘¨π’Žπ’Šπ’π’† 𝑬𝒍 π‘Ίπ’‚π’‰π’Šπ’π’Š, who founded this research family and watched it grow under his care. His vision, leadership, and unwavering support have laid the foundation for everything we continue to build today.

Together, we move forward stronger than ever!
