Do you know how to use (لا,لَمْ,لَيْسَ)?
1️⃣All of these three are used for negation.

2️⃣ (laisa/laisat) can not be used with verbs.
We use (لَيْسَ-لَيْسَتْ) to negate the adjective.

3️⃣(la) can be used with verb in present tense to indicate that the action didn't happen now, or does not happen usually.

4️⃣ (lam) can be used with verb in present tense to indicate that the action didn't happen in past.

The following slide contains 3 pairs of words which confuse non-native speakers.
The combination of the letters is obviously different between the words of each pair. However, while listening to these words I found that most of my students confuse them.
