The project is funded by the US Embassy in Lebanon and it will be implemented by Cives Mundi in collaboration with The Cultural-Social Council in Bar Elias
Youth aged 18-25 will take photography and video classes in order to acquire new skills in photography and business. Hayati will train 90 young people and adolescents (50% female, 50% men) who are unemployed or under-employed and out-of-sch
ool. The participants will be Lebanese, Palestinian, and Syrian youth living in Bar Elias. Over four months, professional photographers and editors will conduct workshops twice a week. The goal is not only to acquire skills in photography and video but also to encourage the participants to express themselves, learn more about their peers from different communities, and build solidarity.
