Today at FAID was truly a beautiful day. Spending time with the kids, seeing their energy and smiles, reminded us why this all matters so much.

We hope we can keep these moments going, and we continue to hope and pray for real peace so every child can return to school, feel safe, and live their days as they should.

Here’s to brighter, calmer days ahead 🤍

It was a beautiful day at the school as we welcomed our Chairman, Dr. Toufic Al Takchi, who joined students and staff in a truly special gathering. The atmosphere was filled with happiness, touched by a hint of nostalgia, as our hallways once again came alive with laughter, smiles, and the vibrant energy we had missed for so long.

We also had the pleasure of celebrating our Chairman’s birthday together, sharing a moment of joy and unity as a school community.

With hopeful hearts, we look forward to the day when our country is restored to safety and peace.

Yesterday, a ceasefire was announced in Lebanon even if only for 10 days, it brings a spark of hope we have been waiting for.

We are holding onto the dream that this peace will last, not just for days, but for good. We long to see our children and staff return safely to school, to hear laughter filling the halls again instead of silence and sadness.

Praying for lasting peace in Lebanon.

Rawad, one of our students, is living with fear and uncertainty. He shared that he is continuing to study online from home despite the difficult situation—“a quiet reminder that resilience is not loud, but it never stops moving forward.” 📚✨

Our heartfelt thanks go to all our donors and supporters who continue to stand by us during these difficult days in Lebanon, as war and strikes impact our cities and civilians. Your support helps us stay strong and hopeful.

We extend special appreciation to the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon – Italian Contingent for providing a boiler for hot water for our boarding section.

We pray for a ceasefire soon, and for the return of laughter and smiles to our school.

Please keep us in your prayers.

Dear supporters and friends,

Today has been one of the bloodiest days our country has faced. We are currently working to reach all of our staff and the families of our students to check on their safety and well-being.

Sadly, the news we are receiving is devastating. Our beloved country is going through an incredibly difficult time. Attached is a photo of one of our student’s homes, which has been completely destroyed.

Please keep us in your thoughts and prayers, and pray for the safety and peace of our country.

This Easter, we hold on to hope for peace, renewal, and the salvation of our country from this war. We pray for healing and a brighter future for our region.

Sadly, with the school closed, we miss the joy this season once brought. It used to be a day full of laughter, activities, and egg hunting. Today, the school feels empty without our students and their happiness.

As we share photos from last year, we hold on to those beautiful memories to keep our spirit alive hoping that soon, our school will be filled with life and joy once again.

During this Holy Week, we lift our prayers to our Lord and Savior, asking for peace across our country and the Middle East. May we be guided to show compassion, kindness, and unity toward one another in these difficult times.

FAID continues to do its best to support students in need, providing urgent assistance and standing by those facing hardship. At the same time, many of our students’ families and our dedicated staff are also struggling.

We humbly ask for your support any help can make a meaningful difference. Together, we can bring hope and relief to those who need it most.
