Holy Cross Harboyan High School Signs MOU with the American University of Science and Technology (AUST)
Holy Cross Harboyan High School has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the American University of Science and Technology (AUST), establishing a new educational partnership aimed at expanding academic opportunities for the school’s students, graduates, faculty, staff, and their families.
The agreement was officially signed on Tuesday, August 18, 2026, at the AUST Ashrafieh Campus by Dr. Riad Sakr, President of the American University of Science and Technology, and Mr. Aram Karadaghlian, Director of Holy Cross Harboyan High School.
The signing ceremony was attended by Dr. Aziz Barbar, Dean of Students and Admissions and Dean of Research; Dr. Sebouh Gurunlian, Director of Admissions; Dr. Georges Masse, Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Sciences; Dr. Nazareth Nicolian, Dean of the Faculty of Business and Economics; and Dr. Rida Nuwayhid, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering.
Through this partnership, Holy Cross Harboyan High School graduates, as well as members of its faculty and staff and their immediate family members, will benefit from special scholarships upon enrolling in AUST undergraduate or graduate programs. Outstanding students will also be eligible to compete for merit-based scholarships covering up to 100% of tuition fees, based on their performance in the official Lebanese Baccalaureate examinations or their SAT scores.
The agreement reflects Holy Cross Harboyan High School’s continued commitment to building meaningful partnerships with reputable higher education institutions and facilitating its students’ transition from school to university. It also supports the school’s mission to provide its students with opportunities that strengthen their academic and personal development and prepare them to pursue their future studies and careers with confidence.
