Dear all, last Friday we surprised our students with a Drop-competition, kinda like a drop quiz lol!

🎸🎸🎸🎸

We asked them to record a short clip of a song/solo/improvisation or an original composition with just a 3 days notice.
They had total liberty of direction and 0 feedback or guidance from our side (that's the purpose of a surprise competition 😉). They decided what and how to record their submissions, and boy, they did not deceive us at all!!!

We are very proud of every student who participated; this was VERY FUN!!
The winner of this July surprise competition will receive a giveaway gift from our friends at

🎁 2 packs of strings of your liking and a bunch of picks!

Ok, now unto exciting stuff!

1) Phase 1 of the competition will happen on Friday 1st of July; we will divide the entries into 3 separate posts. A post for Electric guitarists, one for Acoustic guitarists, and one for Classical guitarists.

2) You may vote ONCE for EVERY CATEGORY = 1 vote for each category. So do not spam the comment section with repeated voting lol :))

3) We will select 2 finalists from each category and have Phase 2 on Saturday

4) Phase 2 will happen on Saturday 2nd of July!
