Our Grade 4 students got a glimpse of their future this week! 🌟

They visited the PYP Exhibition at Vientiane International School, where Grade 5 students showcased incredible inquiries on topics like health, animal welfare, energy innovation, and artificial intelligence.

Watching our students dive in — asking questions, engaging with presenters, and seeing how curiosity and creativity come together — was truly special. It's exactly the kind of experience that sparks excitement for what's ahead as they prepare for their own PYPx journey next year.

Our Student-Led Conferences were an absolute success, and honestly, we couldn't be more proud of every single student who stepped up and led their family through their learning journey.

Watching students sit with their parents and confidently share what they're learning, what they're proud of, and where they're growing was truly something special. There were big smiles, a few happy tears, and so many proud families. 🥹❤️

Thank you to our families for taking the time to be here. Your presence means everything, and seeing your faces light up as your child walked you through their work is something we will never forget. And to our amazing teachers, thank you for preparing our students to lead with pride.

What an incredible week of energy, teamwork, and school spirit at DIS

During Sports Week, our students threw themselves into competitions, working together on team challenges, and cheering each other on. It was wonderful to see students communicate, take risks, and show care and respect as they supported one another.

More than just competition, the week was about building connections, showing perseverance, and celebrating as a community. The pride, positivity, and enthusiasm from our students truly captured what school spirit is all about.

Early Years Sports Week Highlights! 🏅

Our Early Years students explored a variety of playful activities—from exciting games and simple team challenges to special moments like Pajama Day! It was wonderful to see our young learners laughing, playing, and building confidence as they participated alongside their friends.

Throughout the week, students developed more about communicating with others, taking risks as they tried new activities, and showing care and kindness to their peers.
