This special 200 kip note in printed in 1974 by Pathet Lao Government for propaganda using lithograph counterfeit technology on plain paper. This note contains Hochiminh photo at right side on back instead of That Luang stupa and there is no serial number at left and right side on front and no watermark as Thatluang Stupa or Star

It is very hard to say how many specific notes have been issued but it is very difficult to find it in any condition.

- ສັດນິດຖານວ່າແມ່ນ ເປັນການພິມແບບ Lithograph Conterfeit ລົງບ່ອນເຈັ້ຍກະດາດທຳມະດາ
- ບໍ່ແມ່ນເງີນທີ່ໃຊ້ໃນການ ຊື້ຂາຍ ແຕ່ບໍ່ແມ່ນເງີນປອມ

This note is an overprint of 50 Kip on 500 kip note initially issued in 1979 by the Governement of Pathet Lao and pinted in People Republic of China. However, the place where the overprint of 50 Kip on 500 kip was made remain unknown. Furthermore, these notes were never in circulation.
