On 20th October 2025, the students of Alpha International Montessori School celebrated the festival of Diwali with great enthusiasm and joy. They created beautiful flower rangolis, painted traditional diyas, applied henna (mehendi) as a part of the festive tradition. They learned about the cultural and traditional significance of this festival of lights.

The celebration was a wonderful opportunity for our students to appreciate the richness of Indian culture and the values of light, harmony, and togetherness.

Our curious young minds from elementary rolled up their sleeves today to explore composting in action! 🍃🥕🌱

By turning food scraps into soil, our students are learning the importance of sustainability, responsibility, and how nature recycles.

Let your child discover their skills this summer! Our program develops different essential soft skills including emotional awareness, compassion, and care for others and for the world around them. Learning is done through fun interactive activities, from storytelling and listening, to hands-on practical activities, empowered by creativity.

Elementary students at Alpha International Montessori School created a forest diorama, selecting and crafting their favorite forest animals.

Engaging in art and hands-on activities like this not only enhances creativity but also strengthens critical thinking, fine motor skills, and environmental awareness. It allows children to express themselves, work collaboratively, and develop a deeper appreciation for the world around them.

We had a meaningful Lao New Year celebration at AIMS!
The event involved the Buddhism way of giving and receiving apologies and blessings between parents and their children.
