Seeing the Class of 2026 walk through campus—cheered on by students from every grade—was a meaningful reminder of the journey they’ve shared. It’s a tradition that connects our oldest learners with our youngest, marking the transition from years of inquiry to this final milestone.

Summer offers a different pace for exploration. It’s a time when the science lab becomes a place for trial and error, the music room fills with new rhythms, and the field becomes a space for building shared resilience. These weeks are designed for students to try something new, whether that's diving into a creative project or navigating a team challenge, all within a familiar and supportive environment.

Watching students follow their curiosity often leads to those small, meaningful moments of discovery that stay with them long after the break ends.

Last weekend, VIS hosted the annual DEIx

Across sessions, we engaged with questions and perspectives that invited us to listen more closely and think more carefully. From conversations on women’s roles in UXO-affected communities to translanguaging, neurodivergent culture, and discussions around ableism and safeguarding, each space offered something to reflect on.

What stayed consistent was the willingness to speak, to share, and to hear from one another.

Moments like these remind us that community is built through dialogue—through the courage to contribute and the care to listen.

Thank you to everyone who facilitated, shared, and took part.

Last week, our Primary students came together for the Celebration of the Arts.

The space was filled with a gallery of student artwork, alongside performances that brought music, movement, and storytelling to life—from singing and dance to instrumental pieces and a staging of The Wizard of Oz.

It was a joyful coming together of creativity across Primary, shaped by the confidence and expression of our students.

Thank you to our teachers, parents, and students for making the experience amazing.
