Let's focus on the word 'Rapid' ທີ່ຄົນລາວແປມັນວ່າ 'ດ່ວນ' - for example, the BRT (bus rapid transit). Why don't say 'fast, quick, express or speedy bus?' Why Rapid?

Clearly, the tram car in the photo is not that speedy or ໄວດ່ວນ. 'Rapid', ແປສັ້ນໆແມ່ນ 'ລົວໆ ຖີ່ໆ ຕໍ່ເນື່ອງ'. ຄືມັນຕ້ອງມາຕົງເວລາ ແລະ ບໍ່ຂາດສາຍ ຈຶ່ງເອີ້ນວ່າ rapid transit ໄດ້.

Personally, Teacher Who thinks that Lao private car owners ຮູ້ສຶກ down/unhappy to hear the government prioritized the BRT with the word 'ດ່ວນ' or 'speedy'.

A little girl showed me a farming game on her ipad and i think that it's just too lazy 🐷 so we began a design process for this new MW analog farming boardgame! That will force more kids to have their own logbooks for simulated farming activities (keep track on crops growth - keep track on stockpile building maintenain - checking weather for storms, etc).

When a teacher/tutor sits on a same level with a student, both are learning - exploring more into the future/past/present of language evolution. Here we let language shape us (Lao) and vice versa.
