The Academy Training Hotel & Restaurant is part of the Tourism and Hospitality Department of Vientiane Province Technical Vocational College. Established in 2020, this training facility provides students with vocational training in tourism and hospitality. The facility has been co-funded by the governments of Lao PDR, the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg and Switzerland.

This preparation focused on students from the Food and Beverage Service, Lao Culinary Arts, and Kitchen Assistant programs, strengthening their readiness to meet potential employers and take the next step toward real career opportunities. Vientiane Province Coordination and Meeting,9 September. Student teams from multiple disciplines worked hands-on, from back-of-house tasks like kitchen and food preparation to front-of-house responsibilities welcoming and serving visitors. These experiences helped students build practical skills, learn teamwork, and grow through real-world practice. The visit gave teachers and guests a chance to see the students' work and development across different areas first-hand. We truly appreciate the continued support, cooperation, and opportunities provided for our students to learn from real-world experience. We hope our students will grow in the hospitality and service industry, gaining the knowledge, skills, and professionalism needed to advance and build a successful future in their chosen careers 👍🏻👏🏻🌱🙏🏻

This morning... another day of learning.
All the students prepare to join the cooking class to practice and learn by doing. Each student has their own station and practices their role from preparing ingredients to setting up equipment and cooking each step of the way. Everyone gets to practice, try, and learn by actually doing it. Because within each station there is not only the dish they're making, but also the skills, experience, and confidence that gradually grow through practice. The best kind of learning is learning by doing. Another morning full of small lessons that will become valuable experiences in the future ✨👍🏻👏🏻🌱
