On 05 June 2026, at Smart Classroom 2, the training workshop was continuous on the topic “Digital Educational Content Development” was held for teachers of the Department of Hotel and Tourism Management.
The workshop was taught by Mr. Bountong Xaiyavong, Head of the Curriculum Development Division, Vocational Education Development Institute, Ministry of Education and Sports.
The training focused on the following topics:
1) Digital Media Production Tools
2) Video and Multimedia Production
3) Media Evaluation and Improvement

On the afternoon of 5 June 2026, a consultation meeting was held at the LUPIC Office to discuss the implementation plan for project activities during the fifth year of the project and to deliberate on strategic directions and future plans following the completion of the project.

The meeting was chaired by Mr. Vilaphong Sibounheuang, Director of the College, and Mr. Jeon Yang-ho, LUPIC Project Manager. Participants included: Committee of the college, the Head of the Administration and Personnel Department, the Head of the Academic Affairs Department, Faculty from the Department of Hotel and Tourism Management, project coordinators, and project staff.

On 2 June 2026, the LUPIC Project Team, together with Mr. Vilaphong Sibounheuang, Director of the Luang Prabang Technical and Vocational College, visited to the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Vientiane, Lao PDR, the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA), and the Department of Technical and Vocational Education Ministry of Education and Sports.

The meetings were held to discuss the project's implementation framework and to explore ways of further strengthening and improving the quality of international cooperation.

1: Opening Ceremony of the Training Workshop.

On the morning of 3 June 2026, at Smart Classroom 2, the official opening ceremony of a training workshop on the topic “Digital Educational Content Development” was held for teachers of the Department of Hotel and Tourism Management.

The workshop was taught by Mr. Bountong Xaiyavong, Head of the Curriculum Development Division, Vocational Education Development Institute, Ministry of Education and Sports.

The opening ceremony was presided over by Mr. Bounpheng Chammaly, Deputy Director of the College. The event was attended by representatives of academic departments, faculty members, and teachers from the Department of Hotel and Tourism Management.

The first day of the training focused on the following topics:

1) Media Development and CBT Fundamentals
2) The Role of Educational Media in CBT
3) Educational Media Design (ADDIE Model)

On the afternoon of May 12, 2026, at the LUPIC office, a meeting was held between the Committee of Department of Hotel and Tourism Management and the LUPIC project staff to discuss and prepare the operational plan for various project activities to be implemented during the fifth year of the project.

The meeting was chaired by Mr. Anouvong Sisouphanh, Deputy Director of Luang Prabang Technical-Vocational College. Participants included representatives from the Department of Hotel and Tourism Management, the Academic Department, the Administration and Personnel Department, as well as project coordinators.
