NU Science Cafe is a student initiative to promote science communication and broaden horizons of its participants.

Идея Научного кафе пришла после закрытия Physics club, который был весьма стимулирующим и интересным проектом. А сам формат научного кафе не новый и существует практический при всех учебных и научных заведениях мира.

3. Какие у вас планы на будущее?
Продолжать играть р

оль медиатора между исследователями и общей публикой. Проводить больше интерактивных мероприятий и стимулировать интерес к науке.

4. Как ваш клуб влияет на социальную жизнь студентов?
Он предоставляет площадку для обсуждения научных разработок и открытий с профессионалами. Наш клуб является единственным академическим клубом, который пытается соединить студентов от всех дисциплин и курсов, таком образов способствуя налаживанию навыков в междисциплинарном профессиональном взаимодействии.

5. Как устроен ваш клуб?
Организатор является посредником между спикером и публикой. А именно, организатор ответственен за нахождения спикера, распространения рекламы и постеров, а так же ведения страницы в Facebook.

6. Интересные факты?
13 семинаров на сегодняшний день = 13 часов научной информации.
Статистика по презентаторам: 62% SST, 23% SHSS, 8% SEng, 8% CLS, 8% GSE.

7. Что является вашей мотивацией?
Воспитание интереса к научным исследованиям среди студентов.

8. Почему именно вы достойны номинации?
Наш клуб принес оттенок интеллектуальной стимуляции вне учебного плана, объединил исследователей со всех школ и дисциплин под одним форматом и революционировал метод распространения приглашения на научный семинар (это уже не скучный абстракт, а красочная картинка и стимулирующее описание).

✋🏼 Galactic high five!

In Webb’s image of Stephan’s Quintet, we see 5 galaxies, 4 of which interact. (The left galaxy is actually much closer to us than the rest of the group!) These colliding galaxies are pulling and stretching each other in a gravitational dance. Webb will revolutionize our knowledge of star formation and gas interactions within: nasa.gov/webbfirstimages/

This mosaic is Webb’s largest image to date, covering an area of the sky 1/5 of the Moon’s diameter (as seen from Earth). It contains more than 150 million pixels and is constructed from about 1,000 image files.
