8 мая в 9:00 в Школе гуманитарных и социальных наук Назарбаев Университета состоится публичная защита магистерской диссертации Сандры Реал "Взгляды на производство и потребление кумыса в Казахстане." Кумыс, неотъемлемая часть традиционной культуры кочевников, символ степного здоровья и благополучия, в современном Казахстане является ещё и продуктом массового потребления, который производится для растущего городского рынка фермерами-коневодами. На основе онлайн опроса и интервью с производителями и покупателями кумыса, Сандра изучает динамику потребления кумыса в больших городах и рассматривает связи между потреблением и представлениями о географии, сезонности и натуральности кумыса.
