The Screenwriting Program at New York Film Academy Kazakhstan is designed to help aspiring writers develop their craft through hands-on practice and professional guidance. Students learn the fundamentals of storytelling, character development, screenplay structure, dialogue writing, and script revision while building a portfolio of original work.

New York Film Academy one-year programs are intensive, hands-on creative courses designed to give students practical experience in film, media, and digital arts within a short time frame.
These programs focus on learning by doing, where students actively create projects instead of only studying theory. Across all majors, the curriculum is built around industry workflows, collaboration, and portfolio development.
Students can choose from different creative paths such as Filmmaking, Acting for Film, Screenwriting, Cinematography, Producing, Visual Effects, and Game Design. Each program is designed to develop both technical skills and artistic vision, preparing students for real-world creative industries.
The goal of NYFA’s one-year programs is to help students build strong portfolios or showreels, gain confidence working on professional-level projects, and develop the foundation needed for a creative career in film and media.

From storytelling and game mechanics to building your own playable prototype. The Game Design program at NYFA combines game art, design theory, and programming through an intensive hands-on learning experience.
Students go through the real process of game development:
idea → concept → mechanics → testing → demo version.
Through practical workshops, prototype development, and industry-focused training, students graduate with a deeper understanding of game creation and a project of their own. 🎮
