Annual Caspian PetroCongress

We invite you to participate at the international scientific-technical conference «SPE Conference».

SPE Conference is a platform for the exchange of experience and knowledge between students and professionals of oil and gas industry. The conference serves to give the students an opportunity to practice the presentation of technical works.
The objectives of the SPE Conference are the development of the scientific and creative potential of young researchers in the field of oil and gas industry.

Conference sections:
- Drilling and geological methods
- Oil transportation and storage
- Reservoir engineering

SPE Conference Regulations:
• Conference language - English
• Presentation of projects takes place in the form of a public presentation
• There is given no more than 15 minutes for each presentation (that includes 10 minutes for presentation and 5 minutes for discussion and questions)
• At the end of the presentations jury members will choose the best work of each section.

It is our special honor to announce that we will host the 2020 SPE PetroBowl Regional Qualifier.

PETROBOWL REGIONAL QUALIFIER.
The PetroBowl competition pitches SPE student chapter teams against each other in a series of quick-fire rounds, answering technical and nontechnical industry-related questions. The Annual Caspian PetroCongress 2020 was selected by as the platform for the regional selection of players, the best of whom will get a unique chance to compete for the 1st place at the international championship of PetroBowl in USA!

The game covers questions related to many topics, such as oil and gas industry, history of SPE, economics, development of petroleum industry etc. That way, participants of the game will be able to expand their knowledge of petroleum industry and check their general erudition .

The PetroBowl Regional Qualifier 2020 game will follow a standard single elimination bracket-style process in which two teams compete and the winning team (team with most points at end of the round) advances to the next round.

RULES:
*each team must have from 2 to 5 members (players);
selection consists of several rounds, each lasting from 8 to 10 minutes;
*1 round - qualifying games;
*2 round - play-off. Players will be asked several questions in a row, determining the winner of the Petrobowl;

Dear participants of the Congress, we would like to tell you about the “KeyStudy” project.

The “KeyStudy” project is one of the main modules of the upcoming Annual Caspian PetroCongress, which is managed to generate great interest not only among students, but also among leading oil and gas companies.

The "KeyStudy" project is the module developed for determining students professional willingness and reconsideration problems a new approach. This module consists of certain multi-level tasks - cases which are aimed at using own knowledge of the oil and gas industry, realize their in practice and carry out analytical calculations.⠀
⠀
As we all know, solving problems in the oil industry is an actual and sharply posed topic for almost the entire length of time. The younger generation directly takes a part in this because the fresh look and time of that students are of great value. Various symposiums, conferences, competitions of scientific projects and works are held for this purpose. And recently there is an interest in solving these issues with the help of constructed cases.

Проект «KeyStudy» является одним из основных модулей предстоящего Ежегодного Каспийского ПетроКонгресса, который смог заинтересовать не только студентов, но и ведущих нефтегазовых компаний.

Проект "KeyStudy" представляет собой модуль для определения профессиональной готовности и нового подхода к пересмотру проблем . Этот модуль будет состоять из ряда многоуровневых задач - кейсов, которые направлены на использование собственных знаний нефтегазовой отрасли, реализацию их на практике и проведение аналитических расчетов.

Как мы все знаем, решение проблем в нефтяной отрасли является актуальной и остро поставленной темой на протяжении почти всего времени. Молодое поколение принимает в этом прямое участие, ведь свежий взгляд и время, которое есть у студентов, имеет большую ценность. Для этого проводятся различные симпозиумы, конференции, конкурсы научных проектов и работ. И в последнее время появляется интерес к решению этих проблем с помощью построенных кейсов.
