Мы как партнер сообщество в течение нескольких лет вели переговоры с CFA Institute об открытии дополнительного тест центра и провели большую аналитическую работу, в том числе опросили членов соседних стран! Включили в ген план развития создаваемого CFA Society Kazakhstan!

Теперь не надо будет летать в другие тест центры (Москва, Дубаи)!

Info session for students from Nazarbayev University, KazGUU University and Eurasian University

Kazakhstan Society of Investment Professionals announced that the subject company for its second annual local administration of the CFA Institute Research Challenge will be KAZ Minerals company.

The Research Challenge is an annual educational initiative designed to promote best and ethical practices in equity research to students from universities worldwide through hands-on mentoring and intensive training in company analysis. Leading industry professionals mentor business and finance students on how to research and report on a publicly traded company.

KAZ Minerals is a copper company focused on large scale, low cost open pit mining in Kazakhstan. The Group is listed in London, Kazakhstan and Hong Kong stock exchanges.

Local subject company will receive unbiased research and opinions from student teams from the area’s most prestigious universities.

Kickoff meeting gathering all participants representing 14 universities from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan. Teams from Nazarbayev University, Eurasian University, KazGUU University and universities from Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan joined the kickoff meeting via video conference.

Kazakhstan Society of Investment Professionals hosts the second local CFA Institute Research Challenge 2017-2018 in Kazakhstan.

This year 14 universities are participating in the local competition in Kazakhstan. For the first time KSIP invited 2 leading universities from Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan to join the local Challenge: American University of Central Asia (AUCA) - Bishkek, and Westminster International University in Tashkent (WIUT).

During the local round, 24 teams of three to five students will compete for a place in the regional competition. This year, the EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) Regional competition will be held in Dublin, Ireland on 4-5 April 2018. There are 3 Regional competitions in total around the world – Americas, EMEA and Asia Pacific. The Global Final will then be held on 20 April 2018 in Seoul, Korea.

Kazakhstan Society of Investment Professionals announced that KIMEP University has won the local competition of the CFA Institute Research Challenge and now advances to the EMEA Regional where it will compete against universities from Europe, Middle East, and Africa.

The KIMEP University team consists of Alina Tuleugazy, Assylzhan Sadir, Nargiza Ablikimova, Zarrinakhon Mulloboeva and Jamshedi Umarzoda.

The students presented their analysis and buy/sell/hold recommendations on Sanofi Company. Their presentation at the Local Final in Almaty was the culmination of months of research; interviews with company management, competitors, and clients; and presentation training.
