The holiday was in a burst of inspiration, funny and cheerful. Beginners are very grateful to students of the senior group for this great event, which was called "Love rules the world». Moreover there was a love song from the movie "Titanic" in English sung by all together. And a quiz with the "hearts", where you have to find your soul half and make a phrase. The word Christmas has originated from the term Christ's Mass which is an old English word. 'X' is the first letter of the Greek word 'Xristos' which means Christ. Therefore Christ's Mass is also known as “Xmas”. This and other interesting facts about Christmas Access Program students learned on December 25. A special party was held at the library conference-hall by Serik Toktarkhan, EAMP student 2011-2013. After introducing themselves and a short presentation on Xmas facts, the students enjoyed playing games (Relay Race, Draw with your back, Runway, Balloon Dance, Crocodile). Madina Tursynova, EAMP 2011-2013 student, performed her first rap track. The presents liked modern tune and true-life words written by the young talent. Christmas tree was additionally decorated by the students’ wish lists where they wrote their wishes for the New Year. The party finished by singing Christmas songs such as We Wish You a Merry Christmas, Jingle Bells, and Last Christmas.
EAMP students (36 people) who participated in the party not only learned something new about Christmas but also found new “Access” family members.
