What does it mean to set up with Cayman Enterprise City, Cayman’s exclusive special economic zone (SEZ) operator?
For companies seeking to establish genuine economic substance in the Cayman Islands, the “SEZ” designation means operating within a globally recognised and stable legislative and regulatory framework. The “SEZ” designation signals to the world a clear, recognised status; it confirms that you have met clearly defined licensing requirements, have established a genuine physical presence in Cayman, and that you operate in compliance with globally recognised standards.
Genuine economic substance. Globally recognised regulatory framework. That’s the CEC advantage.

A packed house, a mid-way round of applause, and plenty of requests to keep the conversation going, our latest "Tech Talks" discussion in partnership with the Cayman Islands Virtual Assets Society (CIVAS) and SteppingStones Recruitment was a brilliant reminder of the energy around Cayman’s digital assets sector.
Thank you to our moderator Aaron Unterman, Web3 Director and Fund Director at IMS, and panellists Chris Duncan, Partner at Carey Olsen; Shaun Musuka, Chief Legal Officer at Steakhouse Financial; and Nick Snow, General Counsel at Monad Foundation, for sharing such thoughtful insights on the digital assets outlook for the second half of the year.
The discussion explored evolving regulation, shifting market dynamics, Web3 innovation, and the growing intersection of AI and digital finance, while highlighting what Cayman brings to the sector: a strong regulatory framework, deep financial services expertise, and a growing ecosystem for virtual assets, innovation, and global business.
A huge thank you to everyone who joined us and contributed to such an engaging evening.

Great conversations, strong turnout, and a valuable opportunity to showcase the depth of Cayman’s digital assets ecosystem during Consensus Miami 2026.
CEC was proud to partner with Cayman Finance and the Blockchain Association of the Cayman Islands (BACI) to host the official Cayman Islands side event at the Kimpton Surfcomber in Miami Beach.
The event created space for meaningful conversations between companies already operating in Cayman, businesses exploring the jurisdiction, and others working across the global digital assets and fintech sectors. It was a strong reminder of the continued interest in Cayman as a hub for innovation and international business.
Thank you to everyone who joined us, and to our event sponsors Enterprise Cayman, IMS Cayman, Monetaforge, and RSM Cayman for supporting the evening.
