So, Spices! Spices add not just flavor to food but also a good boost of nutritional and health value.
Allowing Food to be our bodies’ remedy.
So here I have a lovely spice mix of coriander, cumin, fennel and caraway in a ratio of 2:2:1:1. Dry roast them on a low flame for a couple of minutes, stir constantly to avoid burning. Once you start getting that awesome aroma coming off that pan your spices are done. Cool down and then you can ground them up.
This aids in better digestion, so adding it to dishes with sprouted legumes, using it as a spice rub, or sprinkle over your yogurt.
Additional tip; I make my spices in small quantities.

Who else is excited for Ramadan?!
Here’s how I’m doing Ramadan this year with the you:
The program is for 6 people.
A mini family.
Different people from different walks of life together to grow and support each other.
Each week we will focus on a skill we need to develop or improve to help reach a balanced mental, physical & spiritual well being.
Why would you choose Ramadan as a starting point? Because it makes sense! A month allocated by the Great one for balance, so diving into the divine spirit of the month is by definition an awesome guided experience 🙏🏼
